I solved the audio with reinstalling the chipset and erasing the bios - the procedure described here (but with the drivers for my machine, of course.): but I have all of the features available in Linux as well. it's just a matter of rhetoric I don't use Linux for multimedia, if is not bad worm to me that sound, camera, HP etc buttons don't work. more than drivers for linux - any chance? I restarted my pc after trying to fix my audio, and he ended up telling me that I needed to update my computer. I didn't know what I was doing, so I uninstalled by mistake and/or deleted Beats Audio, as well as the IDT, which is what I think caused my IDT drivers stop working correctly in the first place. A few months ago, I had problems getting my audio to work. I have a HP Envy Sleekbook m6 model m6-k010dx running on Windows Update 8.1. I had problems with my audio on my laptop.
